About Mobile Hacking Community
Smartphones have been an integral part of our daily lives globally for over a decade, influencing how we pay, travel, order food, manage health care, work, and much more. On the other hand, mobile cyberattacks are increasing annually, with incidents reaching approximately 5.4 million globally by the end of 2023.
Our mission is to increase security awareness by creating a strong community that can rapidly share knowledge in a decentralized manner, through every possible way and platform, utilizing innovative ideas. Our approach involves hosting a series of short hands-on practice sessions, capture the flag (CTF) competitions, and presentations about the latest trends in mobile security, along with various demonstrations.
Mobile Hacking Community can be the gateway to this vision, operating as a portal for all enthusiasts and experts, allowing them to take the knowledge shared and further expand on it to create a better version for the rest of the community.
Activities
Capture the Flag
Capture the Flag (CTF) events featuring mobile application security challenges at varying levels of difficulty, also providing a ranking system to evaluate and compare participants' skills.
Talks
Discussions on current trends in mobile app security, including malware detection techniques, recent CVEs, and the latest advancements in training methodologies.
Birds of a Feather Sessions (BoFs)
Informal discussion groups where attendees with similar interests gather to discuss specific topics without a pre-planned agenda.
Demonstration
A dedicated area equipped with the necessary tools, where visitors can experiment with various techniques and concepts under expert guidance.
